The Home Depot Cabinet Hardware Display was a project initiated by Amerock to redesign the layout of the cabinet hardware area at Home Depot. The strategy was to create a "store within a store" that was more residential and fashion-oriented than the existing, "dump bin" solution.

Mick's team devised a new drawer system which allowed visitors to see the product installed as it would be on a typical kitchen drawer, with the stock visible in a slot just above this area. The entire drawer would open to show the supply of hardware available for purchase.

The new display was rolled out in the New York metro area as a test, with resounding success. Continued expansion of the system throughout North America.
